Can you tell the sex by this pic

You can tell the sex by the size of the tail or the size of the nails. That turtle looks to be a female.

Is that the baby turtle that you were talking about below?? Because, if it is(I didn't know for one)but you can't tell the sex of a baby. The turtle would have to be around 2 or 3 years old.
