You need a thermometer inside to measure the ambient air temp. You need a hydrometer to measure the humidity. Chances are that you will need an Under Tank Heater (UTH) to go on one side. The enclosure looks big enough for a BP through it's first 9mnths of life. How big is it?

To add what was just said, you're also going to need to put a hide on the other side of the tank as well so he has a hide on the warm and cool sides. That way he won't have to choose comfort over security or vice versa.
