Advice on book

Snatcher Jun 12, 2003 02:51 PM

Hi I am an owner of a bearded dragon, and i am considering introducing a couple of water dragons to my collection. I have ordered the following book: "Green Water Dragons, Sailfin Lizards and Basilisks (General Care and Maintenance of Series)"
Philippe De Vosjoli; Paperback.
What is the advice on this book?
Also i am considering building a cage of about 6 feet long by 2 feet wide and about 6 feet high is this size ok for a couple of water dragons?

I got that book and it does have some good advice in there but nothing compared to what you can get from these forums and whatnot. (atleast that is my opinion) How many dragons to you plan for that cage? (You prolly already know only one male in there right?) And if possibly I know it would be a lot better with like 2.5 feet deep but what you described would be a great size tank for a couple or trio I do imagine (forum help me out on this one) Hope this helps.

i would make the dimension 2ft - 3ft. 6 ft is fine for height and width.

Thanks alot for the reply
i think i can go to a maximum of 2.5 or 3 feet so i think that should be fine
also regarding the pond area or 'river bank' should it be slopped and then go deep ? and how big should that be?
I was thinkin of puttin some feeder fish in it as well
