If i want them to breed is it better to..

leave them in the same cage for a while or keep the seperate and let them be together on the floor once a day?
i bit frustrating lol ,i've been waiting and waiting and setting things up and now they wont breed

How old is your female? Is it possible she is not ready uet? I think its is better to introduce them in a neutral environment. I usually keep an eye on them while they are together just to be safe. Once they finally mate yhen split them up. One breeding is all you really need but if you want you can give them a follow-up visit a day or two later.
