mattyrock Mar 26, 2004 10:41 PM

I have 2 RES.........one is much larger than the other.......I bought the smaller one like 3 months ago and i have had the older one for like 6 years......and he never bit me until the day i got the new one.

Anyway.....the bigger one has bit the smaller one a few time....but tonight he bit his tail and wouldnt let go.....and now his tail is all pink and stumpy!! I have them seperated right now.....but what should I do?? Will it heal on its own?? Should i take him to a vet?? Thanks for any help!!

Well, I would call and ask a vet's advice, usually they'll tell you what they think you should do, but I think they'd say to take him in. I would, just cuz you never know wtf bacteria is in that water. Hope he gets better!
