Stats on Tegu, Croc

barker109 Jun 12, 2003 03:06 PM

Well, finally, after more than a week I weighed and measured Croc.
He's between 39 and 40 in. best I can figure and is now up to 6 pds. He was most uncooperative so I don't know how accurate these stats are. The good thing is he's awake, eating and growing. I can't ask for much more.
Take care,
Karen
By the way for all of you getting Blue Tegus, I'm jealous.

Sounds like you are on your way to a nice, big, healthy Tegu! Congrats! I'm finding all the posts about Blue Tegus very interesting and amusing. Just less than a year ago there were discussions going on about their potential aggressiveness and similarity to Colombians in demeanor. I think the people that took the chance with a Blue are finding that they are just as nice as the Argentines. Go Blues! LOL

Dido on the blues. Amazing how attitudes change in just a years time.
Take care,
Karen
