i got a new beardie yesterday. shes about 3 months old. she was in the tank with one other dragon. The pet store said that she was a good eater, but she has no appetite when i try feeding her. Shes also been digging holes in her woodchips and laying down in them..is that normal? Do you think she misses the other beardie? if so what can i do. I cant get the other one b/c he was a boy, and i wont be aloud to anyway. any suggestions?

First of all, get her off the woodchips.....she needs time to adjust and pet store beardies are often not properly cared for so they aren't the best eaters alot of times anyway. Make sure her basking temp is at least 105......and get a fecal done as soon as you can.....

It will probably take about a week or so for a new beardie to adjust to their new surroundings. Give her a little time. I did have BDs that got lonely when I separated them but it wasn't long before they got used to it.

Have fun with the start of a new addiction!
