Not all wild animals make good pets. The general concensus on these forums over the years is that they do not neceassarily do well in captivity. I personally don't recommend keeping them especially since there are many other suitable alternatives like gray treefrogs, that do very well in captivity.

I tried keeping a peeper a few years ago, for a few days. It never fed, so I re-released it where it had been found.
I would recommend an American Toad; they usually eat with great gusto and are quite temperature-tolerant. There are many good caresheets out there on these guys!
