Possible Roundworms in Baby Beardie

Syd Mar 27, 2004 11:13 AM

I have recently had a fecal test done on my seven(7) week old baby beardie and the vet technician who is a good friend of mine noticed a large amount of roundworms. I am still waiting to hear back from the vet but I was just wondering if there are any other steps that I can take to eliminate these nasty little guys. I would rather not use any meds unless I have no choice because I know they can hurt the beardie even more! Any help is greatly appreciated... Concerned beardie owner--->

If all he has is roundworms then you should be able to eliminate that with a few doses of Panacur. Panacur is not toxic the way many medicines can be and if dosed accurately and given properly should not harm your dragon at all.

I would be cautious though.. if he has roundworms, there is a chance he might have others.

good luck,
