sorry guys, had no other way of letting people know. the site (varanus creations) will be down for the weekend while kingsnake is getting ready to host it next week. i would still like to hear about current research on monitors and place a page for it. if anybody has any ideas on that, that would be cool. i would just need the support of good research guys like mark, jeff and sam and the like.
update on pilbara cage: i ordered a 6x3x2 enclosure from a company in the classifieds. it should be awesome. it is a hard plastic like a freedom breeder with a poly carbonate front and a bank of bulbs with a high dam and access to an area below through a 2" x 2" hole on the right. I will upload some pics of it when it gets here.
i ordered a load of roaches from bob mendyk. i think the lobsteres have already doubled their colony and i ordered dubia, orange heads, discoids and some madagascans as well. i just need not to feed any of them off to the monitors for a good while. anybody with any tips on how to raise up new roach bins while mainting a feeding and breeding colony i would be more than happy to hear them.
