She did great again and gave me 20 nice large eggs. One egg looks really big. She must have sighed a breath of relief when she got that one out. Her first clutch is doing good and is halfway there. Can't wait to see these babies. Here is a pic of mommy and all her eggs.

4 more eggs!!! Thank God I tripled checked the laying bin. There were 4 more stuck up into the roof of her burrow. What a nice surprise!! Thank God I checked again I could imagine finding babies digging out of the laying bin in 60 days

congrats on the eggs!! Sweet pictures of her in the box.. thanks for sharing. She is an awesome dragon... foster is a lucky guy! Can't wait to see the babies too.. should be quite a fantastic year for you man. Keep posting some more pics she's a beautiful dragon.. can't wait.

Thanks Brandon. I actually thought she was going to lay the same day your female did. She was digging in her cage that day but was just not ready once I placed her in the laying bin. Yeah Foster is an animal!! He would breed another 10 times I'm sure if he had the chance. He's back to himself eating again which is great as Buddy is protesting a bit till I give him a female LOL, but still any sight of a female, and Foster & Buddy are black bearded, and head banging at the cage window trying to get to them. I just hope they all come out healthy, and if they look anything like their parents LOL that's a plus. If I get a male that has Candy's color as a baby with Fosters ambitious eating and large body he is all mine!!!! Good luck with all your babies too Brandon.

Wow Matt, congratulations! Candy really looks good even after laying her eggs. I can't wait to see how the babies turn out!

That was before the lay.. After she looks like any other wrinkled, dirty faced, filthy orange dragon Just by that time I'm more busy, and excited digging up eggs, and making sure she is drinking and getting a soak I have no time to even think of pictures LOL. Actually this time I got what I thought was all the eggs, bathed her then went back to the laying bin to check again, and picked out four more eggs that were actually packed up into the roof of her borrow, and could not be felt or seen when I shined the light down her whole... Candy digs deep man.. She digs all the way to the bottom of the bin. Then she digs it all out to the left till she hits that corner, and then all the way to the right corner clearing out a large enough space for her to go in head first turn around inside the hole, and come out head first while laying. She's doing good though, and had a special treat afterwards, and a long drink, and soak. If anything I noticed the females MUST be kept extra hydrated while making all those eggs and require, and will drink a lot more then normal before laying. Candy is a 550 gram dragon before mating and laying, but after laying she is much lighter, but gains a lot of the weight back in four days or so mostly in water I would think as fat would take a bit longer. Then of course she pigs out after that, and steadily gains back close to her normal weight It sure is an exciting experience that's for sure. Good luck to you if you find the time to give it a shot this season.
