Veggies and cuttlebone frequency question

Mayo Mar 27, 2004 06:01 PM

We feed our two year old girl twice a week with pellets. I give her a good size leaf of greens (usually escarole, kale, or similar greens) every other day. I have read from some to keep greens in all the time? Is this a problem? Our girl will not leave it alone, she will eat it all. Should I place greens in all the time? I realize that there are very little fats and proteins so she is mainly getting vitamins/minerals and fiber from the plants. WOuld like to hear opinions and past experience on this.

Also with cuttle bone. I probably give a quarter size piece once a week. Is this too much? Too little? Just like the greens, if I put the entire thing in she would eat it or at least destroy it.

Let me know what you think on the subjects.

Matt

Greens and cuttlebone are daily things. They can't have too much.
