My baby leo gecko got eaten by my adult.the baby was about 2 1/2 inches long my adult 5.can they or do they do this.the baby is gone and i looked all over for it all that is left is its tail...

OH MY that is so sad first u shouldnt of had yr little leo in there wit an adult he prolly thought it was a pinky.. that is so sad man srys 2 here that pooor poor baby.. i got a leo named baby cause she freeks out so easily and she smaller then my juvinile

Yes it was very sad.i only had it in there for maybe an hour cuz i was cleaning its cage.didnt think he would be eaten.he was big enough not to be seen as food i thought.thanks for the concern though everyone!oh and my now adult leo geckos name is baby.hes the baby of them all and so dumb he needs to be hand fed cant catch his own food lol

I'm so sorry to hear that! Yes, leos will do that, they are carnivores and don't distinguish between their own species and other things...when something is small enough to be eaten...it usually is. Again, I'm really sorry to hear that!

I am very sorry this happend. Leopard Geckos do not have parental bonds with their offspring, and would definately see a tiny little lizard as a prey.
