i was wondering if it is OK if i turn off all the lights in my BPs tank, except 250W infrared bulb?
balls are nocturnal animals and i wanna know if it's something wrong with lights beeing off whole day...there would be bright enough, because his tank is under window!
they don't need an UV lamp right?

oh, i want to do that, because there is a bit too hot in there and humidity is too low, so if i turn off those two light it would be better!
about humidity...i have 1 large waterbowl on the undertank heaters (it is pool for BP) and 1 smaller plastic bowl right under infrared lamp(to help keep humidity high)!

a lamp which you can see on the photo is not there anymmore...now it's on the middle of the tank's ceiling and i replaced it with 25W infrared bulb...provides heat and it's not annoying to BP!

A light is not required. Many people don't provide any supplemental lighting for their BPs.
