Well he is trying

he's gotten on her 3 times but still hasnt figured it out, and today Pebbles just walked away with him on her back.
lol he keeps getting distracted to, he'll being doing his bobbing and running around but than he'll see something like a shoe and he'll go over to check it out and seems to forget what he was doing
im not goodat being pateint
how would i know if she doesnt want to mate with him?
she does sort of a wiggle head bob and everyonce in a while she'll wave an arm and if he takes to long she walks away and find a place to nap

The reason he has let go is not because he hasn't figured it out, it is because she is not ready or willing to mate. If she struggles enough to try to get him off, or moves away with him on her, she doesn't want to breed. He probably has caught on to this. When she is ready, he will know, and she will be very calm when he bites on and should usually start to arch her tail if she is receptive, if he is going to mate, you will also see his vent bulge because the hemipenes are beginning to protrude and are preparing to be used.
