As far as I know, not anymore, or ever (quality) for that fact. There used to be a couple stores that sold a variety of turtles, but not for several years now. A law was possibly placed restricting open shop turtle sales in Virginia?, but I'm not positive. A few places carry turtles now and again like Petsmart or Petco, but these turtles are never of good quality and never from good selection. The stores that carried turtles in the past were also not of great quality, and most primarily carried wild caught specimens. Your best bet is to purchase captive bred's online from different breeders like Shawn at Turtle-Town.com for example and from the dozens of other breeders and hobbyists offering turtles for sale on Kingsnake.com turtle classifieds. Hope you find what you're looking for.
