First tank cleaning (among other things)

GreedyG2004 Mar 28, 2004 10:32 AM

Today was the first time i gave thorough cleaning of my gecko's tank. being that everything is nice and fresh will this change the attittude of the gecko any? Will it still poop in the same spot?

Also, how long will it be until I can determine what sex it is? Right now it's about a month old. I'd really like to give it a name. And I can't think of any unisex names....

here's osme pix of him/her hangin out in the trubbermaid container waiting for the tank to be cleaned...

it will still poop in the same spot probably. I named mine lex and it turned out to be a female so i call it lexie. Or you could name it Alex or Sam.

Hi

A suggestion for you, you could always name your gecko for something having to do with it's personality or color morph.

When you put your gecko into it's tank after cleaning it, it will probably search the entire tank to see what happened to it for several minuetes.

Mine will always check out the entire tank for several minuetes and be kind of anxious about it, but then they settle back in and they are fine with it, nothing to worry about.

Take Care, TLB
