Static of Gravid Female Ball Python:
She layed her eggs 35 days post ovulation. She layed 4 eggs, all have good vein structure and weight an average of 96 grams.
She is retaining atleast 2 eggs and I will be going to a reptile vet Monday to have the eggs asperated so she can pass them.
Hopefully atleast 2 of the eggs will be pastels that have her awesome blackback markings.
Needless to say she will be retired as a breeding and hoping to make someone a great pet.
[If anyone has other advise on this situation please let me know]
Thanks for all the help.

You say she laid 35 days post-OV? Or do you mean 35 days subsequent to the post-ov shed?
Actually there's no reason to rule-out her potential as a future breeder just yet. If after aspiration she passes the eggs (as opposed to surgery), she may have absolutely no trouble in future pregnancies. Having produced eggs once makes her a good candidate for the future.
Let us know how it goes.
Good luck!

33 days beyond the post-ov shed. So she did lay 35 days post shed?
She shed on Feb. 20th. I would go back and forth on whether to count the day she shed or start my count on the next calander day..
