Dallas/Ft. Worth area to ban pythons and boas?...

Hi just saw this on the message board didnt know what to make of it. I suppose if you live in the Dallas Fort Worth area and can volunteer to keep these animals legal maybe this is ligit? Here is the link to the post.

To my knowledge there's no reptile-ban proposals on the table in Dallas / Fort Worth (at least nothing that I could find).

I read the message at pythons.net, but it seemed strange to me. I've never heard of an "Animal Services Board" having that kind of legal authority. But who knows ... couldn't hurt to weigh in on the side of harmless reptiles.
