how do we now they breed(ed) ?? if we don't have 3inches of sand....should we pile it up from another area of the tank? if the temptures go too low or high will the babies die? how do we keep it at a steady temp. at night? that stuff you said we should put in with the eggs.....what is that? where do we find it,is it like normally in any pet store? how do we keep the sand damp for her when there's a heat lamp over it? should we like dampen it every 10 min. or something? i need answers and lots of help with the breeding stuff lol. MIKE

Well you told me she has been real orange for awhile, I'm assuming she is either READY to breed or she Has from what you told us. :0)

Is she real FAT ? As in looking really wide and super FULL ???

Have you seen them trying? Head bobbing anything????

Dampen sand as needed, you would be surprised it stays damp, check it everyday !

If the temps I gave you for the eggs, go below 72 or above 90 degrees the eggs will not be good, for long.

How do you get temps to stay there ? Well thats why I suggested an incubator Mike. You would set it at a temp like say 84 and it would maintain that temp.

Talk to the BIG guy and see what he wants you to do as far as the incubator goes!

As far as egg laying material, vermiculite or perlite, can be bought at most garden centers or nurseries ! Where plants are sold, Mike.
