Pre-Ovulation Shed??????????????

I keep records on all my animals and Ive noticed something very interesting this year. My female ball pythons are consistantly going thru a shed cycle 50-70 days before ovulation.

Has anyone else noticed this? Maybe this is common knowledge but I would like to hear some feedback regauring other peoples experience.
