Well, many of you followed the story on these little guys when they hatched at the end of February. This little one was the first to hatch, and so far has the best coloration. Like most baby carpets, this ones still a bit nippy, and in the third pic below, we caught him stiking at my wife's movement on the other side of the room! I don't know enough about cameras to tell you my shutter speed. For comparison, I took pics at a college basketball game, and was able to freeze the ball and players in mid air. This guy strikes super fast! Fiesty little bugger, but pretty! Hope you all enjoy the pics. P.S. for a size reference, the "perch" in the cage is a good ole' fashioned #2 pencil.
