Leo enclosure pictures and questions

I'm getting three female juvies at the end of next month. I just want to make sure everything is perfect. Please give any opinions/criticism that you may have.

I'll start at the bottom, there is sand (calci sand) but I have almost completely covered it with slate and river stones. The only reason it is there is so crickets cannot hide as well and so that the slate is stable.

The water dish is terraced, is it still to high for them to get in? I have a calcium dish and a dish for mealworms, but would it be ok to just put mealworms in the calcium dish when feeding? Unfortunately there are still a lot of places for crickets to hide.

The little hut located in-between the hot and cool side (is that ok? I know it usually on the hot side) will be used as a moist hide. The drift wood is some treated wood from Africa which will be used as another hide. The exoterra cave is another hide again located in the middle of the enclosure.

The plants are all real. There are 2 air plants, a jade plant, and an unprickely cactus. The last two are planted in bead a beast packed down and covered with river stones to prevent impaction.

There is a red heat lamp for heat on the left side (the type that can be left on all the time). There is also an under tank heater. These heat the tank to approximately 87-92 depending on the temp in the house. On the right there is a UV light. I know there has been a debate over weather or not one is needed. I'm not sure what I think but I have one anyways.

Is it too cluttered? Anyways I think I have covered everything. Oh the tank is a low 15 gallon. I have a 30 gallon for when they get bigger. The three girls that I am hopefully getting are a blizzard, a hypo, and an albino.

Thanks for any replies, the pictures are posted below. Sorry for the long post,
Lisa

It’s really refreshing to see someone put that much effort into preparing a leo such a nice home. So many people just buy their gecko then go looking for its care/needs. I commend you on your good work. I’d recommend adding a small dish of calcium in case you haven’t thought of that already. We're all excited to see what you get!

lol, this is the first time for me that I haven't bought an animal on impulse and then bought all of it's needs. I just want to do everything right this time

Wow lisa drive over to BC and make me a cage that nice, its'awesome! I'd watch out for that red rock face, if it were in my geckos cage they'd climb right up it. :D
Glad to see you're getting back into the swing of things.

I think I will probably take it out for about the first month. I might just go with paper towel for the first month as well, just to be safe.

I love that you have some natural plants in there. I'm kinda partial to them over the fake plants.

They can be quite a pain though. I had real ones in my very first enclosure which I had to get rid of. A bug that got in with the crikets infested them, it was one of the most discusting things I had ever seen. I'm going to try and keep a better eye out on these ones. The air plants are really cool though, they have no roots, all you need to do is just spray them every once in a while.
