My parents have a squirrel in their back yard that has been visiting them for a few years. Yesterday I discovered that she has a litter of 5 pinky squirrels in a tree near by. I took a look inside and found 5 small ones. They are the size of an adult mouse. My question is can I feed them to my 1 year old ball python? Am I taking any risks in doing so?

i wouldnt risk it you have no idea if it has any diseases or if the mother has any worms etc i dunno if pinkys would also have any of these but why risk it?

......not legal at all...it's not squirrel season anyways...
yes..they have fleas....
pinworms,tapeworm,heartworm,lungworm,gram negative and positive bacterias, and yes...even more parasites in them......
yes they have them at birth...as soon as they suckle....
.....leave the squirrels alone.......
at least until they are adult.....then clean and cook them into a nice soup for yourself........
mmmmmmmmmmmm mmmmmmmm good?.......
