Would swelling be normal during follicular development?

wallyworld Mar 29, 2004 09:59 AM

I have a female who has a slight visible swelling in the 3rd quarter of her body. That swelling has been slight however visible for about 7 days now. I am curious what this may be. It certainly isn't food since she has been off feed.

Thanks

Yes that is perfectly normal and actually a very good sign that you are within weeks or even days of ovulation. Generally you can see the swelling, I call it the 'Building' mode, about 3 weeks prior to ovulation.

Good luck!

That is the best news I have heard lately, thanks.
