Well...I lost 4 of the 10 Texan eggs now after about 2 weeks (infertile) but the rest are holding strong and look great, so it looks like I should get 6 Texans.
For those of you who remembered my crazy story of the 3 females that re-absorbed last year...
THis year I decided to go ahead and ultrasound and make sure everything looked good on the inside.
Results this morning: BOTH of the 2 huge females I bred this year have fertile eggs...in good position, and we could see little hearts beating and everything ! Cool stuff...
A few more weeks until deposition though...
