Tile substrate 20 gallon long too small for 3 leos?

beakgeek Mar 29, 2004 03:04 PM

Hi

I posted images of my 20 gallon long setup to show the new slate tile substrate on another forum and had someone tell me that it is too small and crowded for 3 leos. What is interesting is that all three have gained weight since I have owned them and the two females have laid eggs.

Here is a image:

I agree. I used to keep three in a 20 long and they did just fine. I wouldnt say its overcrowded.

looks fine to me, has more "natural" stuff then my set ups do!

Oh, that looks nice - LOTS of hiding places! I believe the unwritten rule is about 10 gallons to one gecko, and since a 20L equals about a 29-30gal in floor space, you are technically clear!
