chameleon cages

Could anyone point me in the right direction, I am trying to find amaterial that is coated ( perfer an aluminum or perhaps a very light weight metal) i am a carpenter by trade and i am going to build my own cages for my chameleons. I have three jacksons and the two fems are gravid and i also have 5 veils and am looking to get 3 carpets ,so info as to where i could purchase the right product is very important. Please help, thanks

Lightweight aluminum corner angle is a readily available material. I've seen it in both Menards and Home Depot. If not there any decent metal shop will have it.

If you're not confident with welding thin aluminum there are ways to place splices behind your joints and rivet them on. Use a counterbore and beveled rivets for a clean look.

A bit of epoxy between the spline and angle adds an extra degree of security.

Thanks chris, as it is right now there are no menards or home depot within a 100 or so miles. However I am moving to Az. next week and there diffenitly a home depot there so thank you i'll continue my search there, thanks again jim
