Placing of the humid hide

elgaz Mar 29, 2004 04:17 PM

I have 3 leos - one boy and 2 girls who should lay eggs soon. So i am placing a humid hide to my terrarium, and i don't know where to place it.
Should i place it under a 25W lamp (i'm using it for heat), or in the cool corner?
and 1 more question: my leo-girl became a little bit fat already (I see the eggs inside), and she spent almost all of her time in the hide, and don't eat. is it ok?

Place it on the warm side so it is warm and humid.

Females can stop eating one to two weeks before they are ready to lay there eggs and that is normal.
