CORNSNAKES

are cornsnakes tree dwellers or desert dwellers if tree dwellers, should i provide any plastic artificial tree vines or some tree branch to climb on?

They are slghtly arborial(sp). And yes you should offer vines adn pieces of wood to climb on...

Cornsnakes are 100% desert dwellers.I use a 75 gallon tank with over 600 lbs of sand in it so they feel at home.I also use 2/400 halide lights on top so it keeps the ambient air temperature at around 120-140 degrees.Dont worry about a water bowl they get all there moisture needs from the gila's you have to feed them.They also enjoy arizona bark scorpions as a rare treat...Larry,Moe,Curly...
