I just had my baby die on me today,I know I have only had her for a few weeks but it was devastating to me .I know I did everything to help her but I feel so awful. I only hope I can get pass this feeling because I want one so bad, this time NOT from the pet store.Thank you for letting me get out a good cry

I am sorry to hear about your loss. I loss the very first gecko that I own do to the misinformation I recieved at the pet store coupled with the way their geckos are treated while there. It could happen to anyone and has happen to me. What I did to help me move on is get informed about Leopard geckos. Learn all there is to learn. The internet ia vast resource of knowledge. Now about 14 Leos. I feel better knowing that the one I lost help me keep the 14 I own safe and happy.

It is heartbreaking to watch a little animal you care for and come to love die. But if you sanitize the enclosure and evrything in it well, and get a healthy gecko from a breeder you can trust, everything should be fine next time. Don't blame yourself. You did the best you could.

Thank you for the kind words, I know I will get another one down the road.I have learned so much through this experiance and I will go to a breeder next time.I will be hanging around tring to figure out who to buy from.
