Within the next week or two, I am getting a male dumerill's boa from late '03. I've been reading about them for quite some time, and have found lots of great info (but if anyone has any pearls of wisdom concerning the species, anecdotes, etc, I'd love and appreciate to hear them!). I know they can get around 8 feet long eventually, but i have never seen any pictures of adults next to something I could use as a size reference... Does anyonw have pictures of themselves and their dums, or any adult dumerils pics? I would love to see them, as I am curious as to their adult girth. I think I have a good idea, but...
I'm so excited!! Once he's acclimated to his new environment and is feeding, he will be going to environmental educations with kids and herps that I assist in. He's been handled a lot by kids, so with any luck he'll be all settled in and ready to go by the end of April. I'll post some pictures when I get him!!
