Breeding size for male boas?

vcaruso15 Mar 29, 2004 07:58 PM

I am wondering what is the minimum size that you can use a male boa for breeding. I am really wondering because I have been seeing some pics of males breeding females and either the females are huge or the males look very small. Just wondering because I have a few males that I'm hoping will be of size next year.

Males can normally successfully breed around a year and a half to two years old. I raise my males to be about 4 foot by then and I have seen others that do approximately the same with success.
