Baby Turtle's Shell

Hi!
I got a baby turtle about three/four months ago, and when i first got it a little bit of the center of its shell was already yellow. Recently I have noticed that more and more of the center is becoming yellow....should i be worried??? the shell doesn't seem to be soft or anything... wish i could show a picture but don't have a digital camera. thanks!!!
