Adult Female Albino Whiesided *PICS*

RedInTheTail Jun 12, 2003 06:53 PM

I have not posted for a while so here are a few new pics. She is one of my adult Albino Whitesideds. About 5 1/2 to 6ft in length. She is VERY orange and red, and less yellow than in the pic. She is FULL of color. My larger female is the opposite, SOLID white and very little color, I will take some pics next time she sheds. Hope that everyone is doing good!

Take Care,

Are your females breeding? Are they from the same bloodline? If they are, do they vary alot as your post suggests? I would expect them to vary alot.

I have 1.2 adults that are Mark Bell Bloodline, and .1 '02 that is Trumbower stock. They all look a great bit different from each other. The small trumbower female is still young, so it is hard to tell. The smaller adult female has really nice orange and red, I am going to take some better pics of her. Those came out yellow for some reason. The other female just has a tiny bit of red on her tail. The male is inbetween. They are all from different clutches, but as you know they are all "related." Even from the same clutch I imagine they can vary a LOT.

I got one more adult female, a whitesided het for albino, who has been in with both the male albino whitesided and the male hypo. We will know in a little bit if she took .

breedings with what you have. I think Bell's and Trumbower's bloodlines started out as the same bloodlines. With each of their own projects and breedings they are sort of like two different bloodlines, yet related as you said. It should be interesting to see if a white sided hypo bullsnake can or does come out of the bloodline. I believe the hypo in that bloodline and one other is the result of the combination of genes for producing snow as opposed to a hypomelanistic morph gene. The combination of those genes gives the snake a hypomelanistic appearance. I may be wrong, but I think hypos are produced when breeding towards the snow. Good luck

of those great looking snakes you mentioned to me, lol. Great looking snake, best of luck with that project and remember to keep me in mind for babies! If you happen to get a few more pics of them that would be great too! My female hypo finally shed and if/when she drops i'll post some pics of the eggs. I can't wait to actually have pictures of little pits instead of the egg pics, hahaha.
Have a good weekend Kemper, and thanks for the great pic.
