Upset with my rack, so here is a questions...

ChuUtena Mar 29, 2004 09:42 PM

So I bought that rack on saturday. It was a good deal which was all I could afford. But it doesnt get warm enough. It's cold here (AGAIN!) and I have the rack turned up all the way and it won't get any warmer than 75-81 in the warmest part. So my question is, where can I get those human heat pads? I can't seem to find them. I just need some plug in pads, but the only ones I've found are expensive and very large! Some help please? My babies are cooooold! Thanks.

Hi

I don't now if this would help, but couldn't you drap a sheet across the front and back, if the back is open and see if that would help to hold more heat in your rack for now?.

Take Care, TLB

kk take yr leos out of the rack stick them back into there old tank or tanks and let them get warm there even though it is gunna be stressfull.... cause that will help u heat them until you atleast get them some heat...

what kind of heat source does the rack currently use? heat tape? where is it mounted? in the back or the bottom? what kind of thermostat are you using to control the heat?
