Mizar 21 Mar 29, 2004 09:47 PM

My baby leo pass the whole day hiding under some of the cloth that i put in his humid hide. (for thos who dont know what i'm talking about, please see my last post). Tonight i was a bit worried about him so i kinda check him...He was ok He did come out of his hide, a bit mad i believe for being disturbed. He roam a little bit then go hiding under the plant...(he seem to like that spot). Again i seriously maimed three crix...one medium and two small. After a while , he do goes right into the bowl and eat all three ))) Tomorrow i'll go for four and maybe a small mealies. Then back into hiding. As soon as i come near his enclosure he dart back into hiding...very fast, lol. I have him for only two days now, will he eventually be a little less affraid ?

Hi

Yes, he will settle down. When you are putting food in his tank and cleaning it,while you are doing it, talk to him softly before you put your hands in the tank and then talk to him the whole time you have your hands in his tank and let him associate your kind voice with your hands.
