Question on 2 back to back clutches of infertile eggs.

Hermin Soler Mar 29, 2004 11:28 PM

Last year my bearded dragon female laid 30 good eggs for her first clutch and all 30 hatched with no problem. This was her only clutch last season. This season she was paired with the same male and she has had 2 clutches of infertile eggs. Could I be doing something wrong?

Thanks in Advance,
Hermin

Have you seen them mate?

I have seen breeding behavior but not an actual mating.

Since they had success before, I would say they haven't actually mated.....if they are caged together all the time, the male may be complacent.....try seperating them for awhile and then reintroducing them.
