Candling eggs

thundergibbon Mar 30, 2004 01:03 AM

Hi all,
How old does an egg need to be before I'm able to candle it effectively?

Thanks for any help.

I usually don't bother to candle them, but if an egg looks suspect, I will. Usually, you can see veins within a week or so, but I never toss an egg until it's moldy and smells bad.
