if your talking about my tokay pic...lol it is my signature

You attach it yourself at the end of every post. That's why there's always the red "Image" tag next to your subjects.

You'll notice in pocketfulloffire's post that at the end of his post there are five dashes ( ----- ) these are put there automatically to separate the post from the sig.

His pic and email are part of his signature, and that's why the red "Image" tag doesn't appear next to his post in the main forum page.

You can add your pic to your sig by going to user prefs and putting [ img ] http://your.image.here.jpg [ / img ] in the signature. (Don't use spaces before and after the square brackets).

You'll notice my sig has a pic in it also but the "Image" tag won't show up in the main post list.

This is good cuz some people like to check out just the posts with pics, and are likely to click on yours every time and see the same pic, which, though a stunning photograph, is not relative to leopard geckos (or any other herp except tokays!).

Cheers,
Joel

actually when i do that"img" thing it never works so the attachment will have to stay for now

Finnigan Mar 30, 2004 11:18 AM

It should work ... seems to work well for me.

the line you should have is [ img ]http://gallery.pethobbyist.com/data/42737MVC-063S.JPG[ /img ]

Just remove the space before and after the "img" and then before and after the /img.

I'll email you the line so you can use it.

Just don't change the name or location of the pic.

Here's the pic using that line of code. You can right click on it and choose properties to see the url of the pic.
