oh no this is not good. NONE of the vets will even see him? I know a bunch in my area do not specilize in herps but they will see them and try. You need to get an x-ray to make sure it is broken, someone can surly do that. If they will at least do that you could probably with the help of someone put a little splint on with a popcycle stick and first aid tape...

I've never done this so I dont know if this would be good or bad....OHHHHHHHHH an idea go to www.mythicalchameleons.com the guy who owns that is a herp vet ask him for advice...he can surley help with either finding a vet in your area or telling you what to do.

I had a Jax with a fractured femur once, and the Herp Vet said not to use a splint.

He just told me to up the calcium intake a little and let it heal. That's all you can do. If the break is REALLY bad, there is the chace of blood clotting/vascular damage or even infection. Either way, you need to have it xrayed.

Can he still use the foot?

What size cage bars fo you have?

I'm not sure how far you live from Limerick PA but the Limerick Animal Hospital specializes in Herps. I use them all the time and they are good.

Look them up and give them a call if you live close by
