Anyone feeding these new mice to their snakes yet??!?!?! Ok I am just kidding.
I found this picture while at work. The mice just have green fluorescence protein incorporated into their genome. Cool little guys.

They will only glow green like that when exposed to UV light. The protein ahs an excitation at ~450 nm I think. I didn't take this picture. I think it was some researchers in Japan. I have done a similar thing with bacteria (E. coli) though and I'm positive the same protein was used in these mice. Cool huh?
