gold dust/peacock gecko?

lele Mar 30, 2004 04:39 PM

I recently lost my house gecko, Tia. She got out and I have not seen a single sign of her I still have Gaia, my other one and just moved her into a 30hi gal. tank...all by herself

I wanted to get another gecko with similar requirements but would prefer a diurnal one. Someone suggested a gold dust day or a peacock. Any thoughts? I live in NH and would like to find a local breeder. There is a show coming up but I have a class that day ! UGH!! So I may have to order online (I'll take suggestions on that, too)

Any suggestions about these or other appropriate geckos appreciated

thanks,
lele

if its your first day gecko go for the gold dust or phesuma laticauda better for begginers peacocks or phelsuma quadriocellata are very delecite and are not good for begginers so i would go for the gold-dust try this iste very good http://phelsumaweb.com/forum/index.php

yes, first day gecko but not first herp. Just curious, why are the peacock more difficult? I saw a photo of a P. klemmeri are they even available?

So the gold dust would be happy sharing a tank with my quiet little Gaia? Shouel I get two? Are there other species to consider? Obviously, this would neeed to be another small species. Can you recommned some good links for care sheets? Thanks for your help!
