Hey Adam,
I'm not going to be searching for anything in particular... I am even interested in the invertebrates around the area... I was just hoping to team up with a couple local people who knew the area a little better... My days, and nights will be pretty open as the research I will be helping with will be contucted at dawn and dusk... If you want to go out and root around together that would be awesome!...

Ben -
I'll get ahold of Steve Sykes. It may take a few days since he's in and out going to school and other things. Steve's working with a group of California Tiger Salamanders that are at the southernmost part of their range. They are protected, but he works with some that are located at a pond. They are in an area where people want to grow grapes instead of having California Tiger salamanders to enjoy. The herpetologist on faculty at the University of California at Santa Barbara is Sam Sweet. I know someone who is a good friend of Sam's. A lot of people say Sam Sweet is one of the best field herpetologist. Of course, there are a good number of great herpetologists. My friend might be able to arrange you meeting him if you are interested. I'm sure Steve Sykes could do it too since he doing his post graduate work under Sam and a few others. My email is:
