I have had my female veiled in with a bucket for her to lay her eggs. But all she seems to be doing is just diggin, for about 3 days she has been diggin, coming out, bask, then go back to dig. Is it maybe because of the substrate? Right now im using some sand, and some of that sand calcium thing. Do you think i should go back to regular gardening soil? This is the first time in 2 clutches she has done this. THx for the help.

First of all, it's "digging", not "diggin". I think that for your case, a deeper container will do good, and what happened to the first clutch from this female? All well, I suppose. The next clutch will be due by early summer to fall. Good luck, Bill.
