This is a male from our 11-27-03 litter. He shed last night and seems to be developing a nice dorsal stripe!

Craig, first off, beautiful chunky Basin. It is amazing how that dorsal stripe thickens with age.
2 quick questions...do you have any juvie female Northerns for sale?
also, I have an 8 mo Northern...I havent probed it yet but I used to breed red tails and never saw a female with a pair of spurs like this baby Northen ETB has....I know I have to break down and probe him but have you ever seen female baby ETBs with large spurs?

In most of our females, spurs are almost nonexistant. Sorry, the only northern babies we had were both male. I sold one and I'm keeping the other.

thanks for the reply....
I was stupid not to grab that nice 2 yo Northern female you sold months ago for a very reasonable price.....

Don't kick yourself, but that female's parents were both "eye-spotters". I'm keeping her sister and plan to mate her with the male hold back. She will be 6 when he is 4.5. That pairing should produce some interesting babies.
