what is the tongue doing or not I would try to find another vet first.High heat 90 deg.and high humidity has worked for me in the past maybe artificial sun 18 to 20 inches away. This is what they would do in the wild absorb as much thermal energy as they can stand give them a chance to move from the heat i would'nt go higher than 95 deg.use a good full spectrum bulb for artificial sun.Good luck. When my reptiles caught it I spent over 400 plus $$$ on vet bills use a reptile vet if possible I had to inject meds for a month or more. That was for more than one snake.take care

Having no one to go to when you snakes aren't well is a very bad thing! We lost a gravid spiny tailed iguana because she fell ill while our vet was on vacation...Honestly its not worth the risk.

That their toungues aren't working right is a bad sign in my mind. Though I don't know exactly what it means, my gutt feeling is that you need to see a vet asap...I guess I'm just paranoid about any form of paralysis as I have lost herps with paralysis as a symptom.

Best of luck!

If the tongue does not fork, or the split is "sticling together", my thought is a severe RI. Get him to a vet immediately. If no vet, like the others said, warm the cage up into the mid 90's. Good Luck!
