Wow! That's really interesting. Especially since they share the same natural range. I have no idea if it will work but if you do get eggs you can just incubate them in the upper seventies with high humidity but not wet. They'll hatch when they hatch. I imagine pinhead crickets would be small enough but if not just make a pillow-case "net" and collect some lawn plankton.
