New Pac Man

FreakyTah Mar 30, 2004 11:00 PM

Hey again guys. I just got a pac man frog 2 days ago. This is my first frog and I was just wondering how long it took some of your new frogs to eat in their new enclosures. I've got him in a 20 gal long tank with a few plants. He also has a layer of bed-a-beast that i put in there along wiht a water dish. Since hes been in my cage he's moved spots once. I've dropped a few crickets around him, but he seems to tense up once i move over the top of him and they just hop away. They said he liked red wigglers so i tried one of those too. Any thoughts or ideas? Thanks a lot.

Leave him alone for several days to a week. He just needs time to settle in.

If the idea of leaving the frog alone, to get use to it's suroundings, does not work you might want to try a smaller encloser. I keep my horned frogs in 10 gallon enclosers and they all seem to do fine.
