Gimpy has changed SO much! :-D :-D 6 pics, long!

ChuUtena Mar 30, 2004 11:06 PM

Well I thought I should share with everyone how wonderful Gimpy is looking now. I recieved her on the 26th of January which was when the first three pictures were taken. And the last three I took this evening. Hopefully this will work, this is my first time doing the multiple pics per post! :D

These first three were from her the first day I got her...

Notice how thin her tail is, how pale her color is, and how bent her back is.

Now these three were from tonight!!

And on the last three look at the yellow!! She had no yellow before! Her back and arms have straightened out a lot and her tail is slowly getting fatter, and so is her belly! I just thought I would give an update. I am very happy she is doing this wonderful.

0.10 Leopard Gecko (Buttercup, Beaker, Beauty, Blaze, Bubbles, Blinkers, Squiggles, Sandy, and two new girlies who are nameless at the moment)
1.1 Fat Tail Gecko (Bell and Bowser)
0.1 Deformed Leopard Gecko (Gimpy)
0.2 Leopard Geckos that lives at my boyfriend's house, but whom I still pay for food...lol (Dexter and our blizzard, Starlight!)
0.0.1 Crested Gecko! (Piper, it's kinda unisex right?)

Proud owner and operator of a Powerbook G4! Why use windows, when I can use Panther? It even sounds better.

How exactly do you do the multiple pics per post since I obviously can't do it!

Just go through the 6 pics, and you can see how well she is doing!

Stupid me, I'll figure it out eventually!

Awesome, awesome, awesome....

Good for you.

She looks great and it's a testament to your work.

Leos are great pets no matter what they look like. You pics are proof of that.

Good work.

That's great! Congrats! My husband & I just got over the "bad" part of rehabilitating a leo (our first & only one).

His sister was a teacher and had Gordon the Gecko in her class. But after changing schools and having a kid, she knew she had no time for him. When we picked him up at christmas, we were shocked at how bad he looked - retained eyecaps (maybe 2-3), way underwieght, lathargic. Now - Gordon is Gordita (or just plain 'Dita) and looked about 100% better. Much like your photos show. Dita's a little character, too! These Leos are cute little things.

Again, congrats!
